This classic app was developed primarily by a young Namco employee Toru Iwatani, more than a year, starting in April 1979, using a team of nine people. This app was inspired by slice pizza missing. It went on to become an icon of video game culture during the 1980s.

Pretty good derivation. More puzzle than old ‘run for your life’ format but I like this better. I use touch controls which are good despite what you may read elsewhere. The candy crush life/time out style is a bit annoying but gives you a good stop point rather than losing track of time and endlessly playing. All in all a good game.
